Recycling
Reduce, reuse, recycle. You hear it all the time, but do you actually follow those instructions? Mrs. Budde, Mrs. Marshall, and the Ecology Club are trying to make living greener, easier.
They are starting to implement a new recycling plan to help Mascoutah High School make an impact. The current recycling program needs to be expanded, and they are doing that by collecting bags, paper, cans, glass and adding more plastic bottle bins throughout the school. More will bins will be in the cafeteria and in the hallways. Mrs. Marshall says that now students in class will be able to volunteer to take the recycling bins outside instead of just having ecology members do it. “It will help students get more involved” she says.
Remember to only throw away trash and recycle the rest. Let’s help Mascoutah make the world a better place!
