Homecoming Parade
On Wednesday September 24, 2014 Mascoutah put on an amazing homecoming parade. Not only were clubs, such as Purple Crush, handing out candy, but everyone also got to see who was on homecoming court and all of the class floats. The sophomore’s float took first place as it was an impressive float consisting of two large dice and a Spin wheel with Indians and Panthers on it to show our team was most likely to win. The parade ran from the middle school all the way down to the high school and passed many curios people along the way. The homecoming parade not only displayed school spirit, but it also gave highlights to all of the sports teams who wanted to partake in it. It’s a great way to boost the town’s spirit and raise awareness for things people may not necessarily know about.
