2015 Superbowl Commericals
Bo Schmidt
This year there was a whopping 110 million viewers watching the Super Bowl this year. If you tuned in to Super Bowl Sunday you might have been a fan. But not everyone is supporting the two teams fighting for the title. So why is everyone else watching? Thats right, the commercials. Super Bowl Sunday is a non stop entertainment that you can’t stop watching. It’s the only day of the year where you actually want to watch the commercials.
The commercials you see during the Super Bowl are usually a lot better than ones you would see on a regular day on TV. A lot of time and money go into the all of them. Many of the very big commercials aren’t even shown until the Super Bowl. This year one super bowl commercial for a thirty second time slot sold for about $4.5 million. Try to wrap your head around that number.
Some of the favorite commercials include: Budweiser, the heartwarming skit about the bond between a horse and a dog (which won the best commercial this year) or maybe you really liked the daddy appreciation commercials. There are also some humor in these commercials like the Chrysler fiat commercial, Doritos and the Guacamole from Mexico.
Overall, this year was lacking a little energy compared to previous years. There were a lot more commercials meant to send a message rather than make people laugh, which is what we have come to expect over the years of watching the Super Bowl.
Here are some of the celebrated commericals from 2015
Budweiser:
Dove
Doritos
