Imma Let You Finish...

Oh, Kanye, not again. At the 2015 Grammy’s, Kanye struck again. When Beck won Album of the Year, Kanye rushed the stage in a comedic attempt to recreate the 2009 Taylor Swift incident. Although some thought that Kanye only intended to make people laugh, Kanye’s interview later that night proved differently. West explained that his halfway Beck interception was a protest in itself. "If they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us," the rapper said. "Flawless Beyoncé video, and Beck needs to respect artistry, and he should have given his award to Beyoncé."

In 2009, Kanye made the news as America’s most hated celebrity. At the Video Music Awards that year, Taylor Swift won Best Female Video. Kanye, however, disproved. Taylor barely had a chance to accept her award before Kanye rushed the stage, grabbed the microphone out of the startled Swift’s hands and aired his objections."I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!" the rapper complained, referring to the song single girls across the nation jam to regularly. Swift, who had won the award for her high school love song "You Belong With Me," was hurt. "I was standing onstage, and I was really excited because I'd just won the award, and then I was really excited because Kanye West was onstage," she told People magazine. "And then I wasn't excited anymore after that."

The conflict sparked the nation, igniting social media outrages. Fans of Kanye expressed their disappointment and praised Taylor for taking the embarrassment with grace. Taylor, however, gained a greater fan base from the incident, especially once she defended Kanye.

Unfortunately for Kanye, karma is not kind. West walked away even more hated and empty handed.
