Winter Weather is Back

Winter is finally here! It may have taken its time but it is making up for that, hitting us with our first snow this year and temperatures hitting below zero. Snow came sunday night giving us three beautiful inches of snow to wake up to after sleeping in on Presidents Day. Thankfully it was a holiday so we didn’t have to take a snow day. The snow returned tuesday night bringing in about half an inch. Snow isn't all the weather brought in this week. Harsh temperatures hit Thursday morning bringing the temperatures down to the negatives knocking every school district in the area out of operation except Mascoutah. Thats what you call straight dedication! Plus, we wont have to take any days away from our spring break. Make sure you’re staying bundled up in this weather. It doesn’t look like its going back up anytime soon. Isn’t it great to live in an area where its sixty degrees one week and hitting negatives the next?
