The world knows Kim Jong Un as the dictator of North Korea, the most intimidating of countries, but is he really that much different from all of us? Recently, Un decided to change things up and get a fresh new do’. New year, new Un?

Before his fresh new up-do, Un wore his hair in a boyish fashion, bringing a whole new meaning to the middle part. The North Korean President typically parts his hair in the middle, with a few banG pieces flopping outward on both sides. Real cute, Kimmy. But within the past month, Un upgraded to a trendy new style, reminiscent of a sophisticated afro. I cannot say that the look look is easy on the eyes, but I’ll admit that it somewhat improved his overall appearance.

Obviously, North Korea has many problems, and Kim Jong Un’s hair is definitely one of them. Maybe one day he’ll find a style that fits him.
