Naturalization Ceremony

If you weren't aware already we host one of the most special ceremony for some people right here in our very own high school ran by our close friend Judge Rosenstengel. This ceremony, the Naturalization ceremony is where people from all around the world can receive their U.S. Citizenship. For many this means gaining freedoms and opportunities that these individuals do not receive in their previous countries. What else is special about this ceremony aside from gaining citizenship there is a time that each recipient has a chance to stand up and say something. At this time some will say something inspirational or give their story and why they are here. This part is a personal favorite of mine. It really shows how blessed we are to be born and live in such a country with all the rights we don't even fully appreciate. A complete eye opener for sure. The ceremony was accompanied by our very own Show Choir which I was very happy to be part of. The ceremony was truly special for everyone. All in all it was a very heartwarming experience that everyone should try to go see. If you don’t appreciate our country now you will when you hear what some of these amazing people have to say. It is great to be an American!
