Psycho for Bates Motel!

For more than half a century, the infamous “Psycho” shower murder has haunted millions, but many have wondered what the story was before the actual story. That is until “Bates Motel” aired on A&E nearly two years ago. The hit drama thriller series stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates, Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates, and Max Thieriot as Dylan Bates.

Norma Bates is desperate to start over after the tragic death of her husband, along with her two sons, Norman and Dylan. As a result, Norma buys a rundown motel and purchases the eerie mansion located nearby on the property, hopeful that she will make a nice profit. Although the Bates move to a small coastal Oregon town, their problems do not vanish. As the series unfolds, viewers watch in horror as the lives of Norma, Norman, and Dylan swerve completely out of control.

“I’ve always liked shows that have a lot of mystery and “Bates Motel” has just that. Also, it’s about a son and mother who try to juggle their problems within each other,” stated Channel Fogarty. “I’ve only watched the first season, but I look forward to watching seasons 2 and 3.”

The third season of the installment aired March 9, 2015 and since then, its been the talk of the month. Mascoutah High School students love “Bates Motel.” According to Hannah Yohe, “It’s interesting and there’s a lot of drama. I like drama.” “Bates Motel” does contain a lot of drama, but it also involves lots of twists and turns. One does not simply watch an episode without being shocked. Every episode has a surprise waiting to be revealed. Be part of the action. Join the fandom. Become a psycho.

Watch “Bates Motel” on A&E on Tuesday nights at 8:00 p.m.
